Best wishes the participants of the training “Teaching the basics of the gender-responsive approach to the budget process in the system of professional training and development of civil servants and local self-government officials”

Within the framework of cooperation with the  National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service, the Centre for Adaptation of the Civil Service to the Standards of the European Union with the Representation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Ukraine and the project “Gender Budgeting in Ukraine”, training was held for civil servants and teachers under the topic “Teaching the basics of the gender-responsive approach to the budget process in the system of professional training and development of civil servants and local self-government officials”.

The integration of gender approaches into the work of civil servants and local self-government officials can help make the reforms of public administration, local self-government and power decentralization more effective and ensure their compliance with the European standards and principles of good governance.

The participants of the training gained professional knowledge on gender-responsive budgeting in Ukraine and in the world, on the procedure of conducting gender budget analysis, as well as on the issue of introducing the topics of gender equality and gender-responsive budgeting into the training programs of the system of professional training and development of civil servants and local self-government officials, and will now be able to disseminate knowledge about the GRB as coaches.
