Ukrainian example of implementing gender budgeting is interesting for Trinidad and Tobago

Gender budgeting in Ukraine became an example of good practice, which is kept watch with great interest from other countries in the world in order to get more information on GRB.
We are proud that within two weeks, the project will host a guest from Trinidad and Tobago – Tricia Basdeo-Gobin who will study the experience of the project team and our partners on how to work on the implementation of gender budgeting, as well as take on interesting ideas and disseminate new knowledge in her country.
Tricia graduated from The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, in 2013, with a BSc in Psychology and a minor in Gender and Development Studies and in 2014 with a MSc in Gender and Development Studies. Her research focused on perceptions of “intimate partner violence” by men and women in elopment Studies, UWI, under the Research and Outreach portfolio. She founded the S.I.M.P.L.E. Foundation (Smiles Ignited Making Precious Lights Everywhere) in 2011, to assist underprivileged children in Trinidad and Tobago.
